So does it matter where?

So, should I trust wordpress.com to be a good blog host for me as they like to use snap for monetary gain and they want to charge for things like domain mapping and the ability to cutomize your CSS.  I’d think that was a decent thing if there weren’t others, albeit direct competitors, who offer some of this for free.

So, what’s the incentive? Do you use WordPress.com and pay for the ability to use your own domain and to edit the style of your site? Or, do you use Blogger and get that for free?  Or, do you get free hosting (which is all over the place) and use WordPress and edit to your heart’s content?

Its a connundrum, for sure.
