Hey there. Coreythompson.com is not down for the count. Perhaps I should have written a warning, but I didn’t. My web host is upgrading the dual core servers currently running my site to new quad core servers, which should result in a faster experience for all (maybe feedburner’s picky “I don’t wanna wait for you” attitude will be compatible). My host advised that a few sites may not work properly during the transfer. It’ll be back up shortly.
Welcome
If you've come here as a redirect from http://coreythompson.com, don't worry. You should be here. My web host seems to have pulled their plug. Pardon me if I don't seem shocked.-

I finally found you Corey! Darn those quad core servers. Do they really need the power? Will it really make a difference! I want proof! hahahahaha
As all “upgrades” go, apparently its not smooth. It’ll be a bit longer that a few hours. It requires my input and I’m not home. Drat that port 2082…and of course I need that power!!!!(who cares about the other 120 sites I share with.)
Hahah you’re funny! Actually it was down last night too so it has been well over 12 hours going into 16 hours. I am addicted to your site! I can’t go on! NOOOO! hhaha Aren’t you glad that you have nonpaying customers like myself who are very demanding?! You are one of the only blogs I read so this experience is very traumatic for me.
Bleieve me, after being totally let down by the theives at DSTInternet, I did get a small sinking feeling. But, Friendlier has been awesome until now. I likely could have rebuilt my site a lot earlier, but I was here at work, which doesn’t quite work out. Have you ever tried to use Windows™ FTP client for more than 30 seconds? Its featureless! I’d rather a shell any day! I think that I’ll set up a cron job to email me my database every night.
LOL! You’re here too.
yes, I am (I was one of the original Google bloggers, actually)
